Duke and Marie Lancaster
Lead Pastor / Associate Pastor
 Duke grew up in Oxford, Mississippi. He is an alumni of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa and has received a Discipleship Diploma in Kingdom Theology from Vineyard Bible Institute.
In addition to being an accomplished musician and worship leader, Duke was ordained in 1994 and has since served as an Associate and Senior Pastor. Duke has been a featured speaker in worship conferences and both he and Marie have been involved in Vineyard mission efforts in Colombia and Costa Rica.
Marie is from southern Indiana and is the daughter of an Assembly of God Pastor. Marie has proven herself as an administrator in both secular and Christian organizations. She is a gifted team builder and has overseen children's and women's ministries at the Vineyard. She has served in nearly every aspect of church life and is highly respected for her leadership. Marie was ordained in 2007.
Duke and Marie have been part of Vineyard since 1991. They have been married for 27 years, and have three sons and two daughter-in-laws. They moved from Mississippi to San Diego in 2008. Duke is bi-vocational and works full-time for SkyHawke Technologies as a Database Administrator. Marie serves full-time at the church.

Chris and Jan Self
Associate Pastor / Connections Coordinator
Chris is the kind of person that has never met a stranger. A quick wit combined with genuine compassion has allowed him to open hearts to the gospel that are not easily reached. Chris spent his early childhood in Mississippi and his teens in East Texas. He attended Stephen F. Austin University on a baseball scholarship and completed his education at Belhaven College.
 Jan is a talented leader and administrator and she has trained in many aspects of prayer and spiritual gifts. Her natural hospitality and sense of humor puts people at ease and makes her an effective minister. Jan was born and raised in Mississippi but lived for a short time as a child in the Middle East (Turkey).
Chris and Jan were introduced to the Vineyard in 2002 and instantly fell in love with the style and authenticity they saw there. They soon committed their lives to seeing the Kingdom of God break through in the lives of people. The Self's have served as leaders at Vineyard Church of Jackson, Mississippi and have attended Vineyard Bible Institute with an emphasis on Kingdom of God Theology. Chris and Jan have also ministered together in Colombia as part of the Vineyard's mission partnership.
The Selfs have been married for 8 years and have two sons. Chris works fulltime as a representative for GB Sales Floor while Jan is an administrator for Thyssenkrupp Elevator in El Cajon. They moved to Chula Vista in late 2007 as part of the SouthBay Vineyard church launch team.

Deena Mobley
Children's Ministry Director
 Deena is a southern girl at heart, growing up in a small town near Savannah, Georgia. She graduated from Brewton-Parker College, majoring in Christian ministry and has served as a children/youth minister for eight years prior to beginning her career as a Christian educator. She has spent the last twelve years teaching and coaching in private schools. Her greatest desire is to see young people take hold of Jesus, before the world takes hold of them. Her passions are worship, the arts, theology, and playing in the mud.
Deena attended Beaches Vineyard in Atlantic Beach, Florida prior to moving to the San Diego area in March of 2008. Deena and her husband Bryan have been married for almost three years. Bryan serves in the US Navy, and Deena works with Children.
