In addition to being an accomplished musician and worship leader, Duke was ordained in 1994 and has since served as an Associate and Senior Pastor.

Marie has proven herself as an administrator in both secular and Christian organizations. She has served in nearly every aspect of church life and is highly respected for her leadership. Marie was ordained in 2007.

Duke and Marie have been part of Vineyard since 1991. They moved from Mississippi to San Diego in 2008.

Chris and Jan were introduced to the Vineyard in 2002 and instantly fell in love with the style and authenticity they saw there. They soon committed their lives to seeing the Kingdom of God break through in the lives of people. The Self's have served as small group pastors at Vineyard Church of Jackson, Mississippi and have attended Vineyard Bible Institute with an emphasis on Kingdom of God Theology.

The Selfs have been married for 9 years and have two sons. They moved to Chula Vista in late 2007 as part of the SouthBay Vineyard church launch team.

Deena is a southern girl at heart, growing up in a small town near Savannah, Georgia.   She graduated from Brewton-Parker College, majoring in Christian ministry and has served as a children/youth minister for eight years prior to beginning her career as a Christian educator. 
 

Hannah brings a passionate blend of energetic acoustic styling and intimacy to worship. Born and raised in San Diego, her father was a Pastor and church planter. She is a fulltime student at Southwestern College.
